This Privacy Policy explains what information the Van Planning website (the “Site”) collects and how it is used. Van Planning is operated by SwiftVisions LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the Site you agree to this Policy and to our Terms of Use.
1. The short version
The Site currently works entirely in your browser. You do not need an account, and we do not collect personal information on a server. Your planner answers and generated plans are stored only on your own device using browser local storage, so you can leave and come back. We do not sell your information.
2. Information stored on your device
When you use the Build Planner, the Site saves the following in your browser’s local storage, on your device only:
- Your questionnaire answers and generated plan, so you can resume where you left off.
- A note that you accepted the Terms, so you are not asked repeatedly.
This data stays in your browser, is not transmitted to us, and you can clear it at any time (see “Your choices” below).
3. Information you choose to send us
If you contact us or, in the future, sign up for an account or a newsletter, you may provide information such as your name and email address. Because planner data lives in your browser, you control it. You can clear it at any time by using your browser’s “clear site data” or history tools, or by starting the planner over. If you send us information directly, you may ask us to delete it.
8. Children
The Site is intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
9. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the Site, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure. Data kept in your browser is subject to your own device’s security.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy as the Site evolves (for example, when accounts or analytics are added). Changes are effective when posted, and the effective date above will be updated.
